Confession and Apologies

So, I was one of those.  Like legit, I'll admit it, I took for granted the real amount of work that newborns take. I knew they took work but I had this notion of free time because they sleep all the time... right?  So when we were taking our birthing class and it suggests having a list of who will be doing/volunteering for the different house duties I literally laughed at the idea that I wouldn't be able to do laundry and take care of a small newborn, "I mean gosh, I'm not an invalid".

So I need to apologize to the general public for my complete lack of knowledge and disregard for the work you were doing.  Our Luna cute and sweet isn't as easy as I thought.  She doesn't like to be put down.  She is as willful as her mother.  At night she is a doll but during the day she refuses to be alone.  She will be sound asleep, or so it appears, but if you lay her down she will instantly wake.  Stomach, back, bouncer, swing, swaddled...no matter she realizes that there isn't body heat on her and freaks.  Carriers? Luna scoffs at you, "You ain't fooling me!"

So I must admit my silly biased judgments and again apologize for my lack of thought.  For who knew something so small could take up so much time, attention and free hands!!

Live. Love. Loud.
